Code Breaker is a pure deduction puzzle. Each round hides a secret sequence of four colors — chosen from six — behind a curtain, and your job is to expose it before your ten guesses run out. After every attempt the game gives you two clues: black dots for each peg that is the right color in the right slot, and grey dots for each peg that is the right color but sits in the wrong slot. No dots means no overlap at all. The secret can repeat colors, which is the twist that trips up beginners. Start your first guess with four different colors so you immediately learn which of the six are even in the code. Use the feedback to build a mental model of what must be true — and what can be ruled out — before placing your next guess.
