Bug Blitz is a field-shooter arcade game about a segmented crawler that snakes down through a patch of mushrooms toward your blaster at the bottom of the screen. Every time you shoot a body segment it vanishes, plants a mushroom in that cell, and splits the chain into two independent crawlers, each with its own head. Heads are worth ten times a body segment, so where you aim matters as much as how fast you fire. Mushrooms block your shots and bounce the descending crawler, while a jumping spider, a zig-zag flea, and a scorpion harass you from the sides — one touch and you lose a life. Clear every segment to advance to a faster, longer wave. This guide covers split control, mushroom field management, blaster positioning in the bottom band, side-bug priorities, and the scoring habits that turn a short run into a long high-score chase.
